Terms of Service

The Turkish version of this document is the authoritative one. Translations into other languages are provided for informational purposes; in case of conflict, the Turkish text prevails.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using AstroTypeDB services you are deemed to accept these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the terms you must stop using the service.

2. Scope of Service

AstroTypeDB is a discussion platform for astrology and personality profiles of public figures and fictional characters. The analyses, interpretations, votes and personality test results provided are for entertainment and educational purposes; they do not constitute clinical diagnosis, medical advice, psychological diagnosis, or professional consultation. You should not base important decisions solely on AstroTypeDB outputs.

3. Account Security

  • You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account and password, and for the accuracy of sensitive fields such as birth date.
  • False identity, accounts in another person's name, automated registration, and account sharing are prohibited.
  • If you become aware of a security breach you must immediately change your password and notify us.
  • You may not use AstroTypeDB if you are under 13 years of age.

4. Acceptable Use

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Content that contains insults, harassment, threats, hate speech, racism, or sexism.
  • Disclosing personal data without the owner's consent (doxxing).
  • Uploading or sharing copyright-infringing works.
  • Spam, fake account farming, automated scraping, API abuse.
  • Attacks aimed at damaging the service (DoS, exploit attempts, etc.).
  • Sharing 18+ content or illegal material.

Rule-violating content is removed; repeated violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of the account.

5. User Content and License

Content you upload through your account (comments, votes, profile photo, etc.) remains your responsibility. To publish this content, you grant AstroTypeDB a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable usage right. This right terminates if you delete the content.

6. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Site content, source code, the AstroTypeDB brand and visual identity belong to Echo Lab LLC, established in Wyoming, USA; they may not be reproduced or derived without permission. Celebrity photos and character imagery are subject to their respective rights-holders' rights; for an infringement claim contact legal@astrotypedb.com (DMCA / Law No. 5651 notifications).

7. Service Interruption

AstroTypeDB reserves the right to suspend or terminate the service for maintenance, updates, security, or legal reasons. You can delete your account at any time from your profile. AstroTypeDB may also terminate your account for violations of these rules.

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Mandatory consumer law rights are reserved.

9. Disputes and Governing Law

AstroTypeDB services are operated by Echo Lab LLC, established in Wyoming, USA. Disputes arising from this agreement are governed by Wyoming state law; competent courts in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction. References to conflict-of-laws rules are reserved.

However, for users acting in a consumer capacity, rights arising from the mandatory consumer protection legislation of your country are reserved. In particular, the jurisdiction of Consumer Arbitration Boards and Consumer Courts continues for consumers accessing from Türkiye, and the jurisdiction of local consumer courts continues for consumers accessing from the European Union.

10. Changes

This text is updated from time to time. Important changes are announced to registered users via email or in-site notification. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
